In the past producers made a product and it was only able to be passes from one consumer to the next because of limited access at the time but now, there are many different ways to broadcast your work. People who consume your product and reuse it is one way because not only do you have your group of people consuming your work, you also have a different group of people because your work was reused. Now that our community has changed, that allow producers to become consumers on their of work because before producers put stuff out hoping to blow up but never expecting it to be reused now can become a fan of their own product being reuse. The community change was a major reason for this because now people who share things of the same interest can associate with each other through media technology.
